Yes indeedy.

My last journal entry started off with "WOW! I can't believe it's been two months since my last journal entry!"

That was in October. XD

So, here's a little bit of news for y'all.

Reasons for not updating: Well, as a few of you may or may not know, I have been having some MAJOR computer malfunctions since October of last year. The motherboard on my laptop was replaced 3 times as well as the powerboard and internal battery. Suffice it to say, I somehow ended up with a lemon of a laptop. So I've been dealing with Geek Squad since then, with a computer that's been completely out of commission (it literally just stopped turning on at one point), and having it sent to the service center and then come back a month later only to be brought back in within in the week to be sent out again. It was horrible, I will say. But THANKFULLY Best Buy agreed to replace my computer with something with "comparable technology" which sucks because we paid $979 for the original computer and now have one that is only worth $629 retail. It is slightly better than the older computer which I am happy for, so I am coping pretty well. This all happened... yesterday, I believe. I've been in the process of installing everything on it and grooming it to my specifications since then so I hope to have everything up and running soon, for more arts! Yay! The new computer is a Toshiba, as I REFUSED to get another HP, regardless of how well others have worked. I have just lost faith in their products. But I do LOVE my new Toshiba, it's so shiny!

What's New: Oh gosh, what is new? Well, this computer, first off. Second, life is being alright to me right now, it was going pretty darn good before this, but it's started to take a turn for the worst. The petstore that I am currently employed at is doling out unemployment to more than a few people, and I believe my head is on the chopping block as the newest person there (though I've worked there over a year and a half), and the person with the least amount of hours. I have been conveniently looking for a second job, anyway, so hopefully I won't be TOTALLY screwed, but we'll see. As of right now it's a massive stressor, and some of my closest friends are people that I've met at work, and I have so many people that come in to see me, it's all just very upsetting. Plus with this fantastic crumbling US economy, finding a job is proving quite difficult. That plus my full 18.5 unit school schedule (5 days a week, at least two classes per day), makes life even more rough and tumble.
As far as school goes, there's not too much to report except that we finished with our performance of the Messiah, in honor of Georg Fredrick Handel's 250th death-iversary. I am so glad that it's over, though I do sort of miss the Hallelujah chorus. Lessons are going well, otherwise, I am learning an aria from a Handel opera called "Sersei" about Xirxes, who loves a tree. Yeah. It's pretty fun, I must say.
The dogs and cats and rats and hamsters and everything else in this house are doing pretty good, though Piccolo (one of my rats) sprained his foot not too long ago.
I am having some issues with my family, as my Mom is really stressed out since my sister broke her toe and my grandpa passed away in December, so one of her sisters is just being a total bitch and flipping out. And so whenever I see her she takes it out on me. Also my Dad is just... flipping out. Something is seriously up with them, so I just don't go over anymore.
My relationship with Nick (~NefariousKiwi) is going quite well, we've been together almost six months and I am pleased to say I am ecstatic to be with him. Hooraay!
Also, the engine on my car is completely effed, so my Dad is replacing it for me, so I'm without my car for a while. I don't know why he is doing that for me, since he seems so bent on making my life a living heck. I am very much so okay that he's fixing that for me, though. Hooray.
Money is, as usual, very tight these days.
